A: I practice rod and reel fishing.

Q: How long have you been fishing for?

A: As long as I can remember, since I was about 10. I have been professionally for over 20 years.

Q: Can you give a brief history on how you got started fishing?

A: I grew up on a small island outside of New York City. I fished with my father and grandfathers since I was young and catching a lot of stripers and bluefish. I spent summers in New England fishing with my dad as well. That’s pretty much how I got into fishing. All I wanted to do was become a fisherman. When I was twenty, I got on the television for the first time with my fishing skills. My show, “Wicked Tuna” made its first appearance in April, 2012. I haven’t stopped since. I love it.

A: Blackfin is full of great proven product. I prefer to be with a company I believe in and trust; Blackfin is that for me.

Q: Where do you spend most of your time fishing?

A: I spend most of my time fishing offshore and near shore, but I am a Stuart native and have been fishing these waters since I was a child.

Q: What type of fishing do you practice?

A: I practice inshore and offshore big game fishing and target snapper, grouper, cobia, mahi, saillish, sharks. kingfish, tuna. etc. Basically anything that bites.

A:  I’ve been chartering for 5 years and fishing these waters for over 20 years.

Q: Can you give a one brief history on how you got started fishing?

A: I started fishing with my father and friends. After spending a little time on the water, I knew this was the career path I wanted to take in life. I’ve always been obsessed with fishing and any  of my customers will tell you I get more excited than they do when we get to fishing! I am where I am today by working hard and pushing through the first few years of starting a business. I thrive in the ocean and love the water!

A: I partner with Blackfin because they make ’wonderful rods and are located in my hometown. They always get the job done correctly and haven’t failed me yet getting all the species to the boat! I am in it for the long run and I love this industry.

A: Miami Beach, Florida

A: Sailfish, Swordfish, Tarpon, and all the other thrilling fish that share their ocean.

A: I have loved fishing since I was about 5 years old. I moved to Miami, FL in 1956 and caught my first sailfish in 1957. I have been charter fishing since 1966, and I still love every day on the water. My clients, the fish, and the challenges of getting them together is my driving force!

A: I am a Maryland native and spent a lot of time fishing there throughout my life. I actually started fishing on the Chesapeake Bay and got my first boat in my twenties. During the short offshore season in Ocean City, Maryland, I fished from the Angler Restaurant and Marina, it was then that my passion grew for white and blue marlin, as well as tuna and sharks.

A: I am a Stuart, FL native. Because I spent all of my time in Stuart, I grew up on the water and loved spending time fishing. I got my first job at 15 and never looked back. I got paid to travel the world and fish. . . can’t ask for any better career. I later got married and had my son. In September 2009, I started my own charter business to minimize the travel, but I continue to do what I love and share it with others. A: We specialize in Swordfishing, Sailfishing, Marlin fishing, with light – heavy tackle, depending on the types of Marlin.

A: I have been fishing since childhood, but professionally since 2003, from charter boats to private boats.

A:I started offshore fishing in New Jersey and professionally fishing in Islamorada. I spend several years fishing throughout most of the charter fleet of Islamorada, but primarily between World Wide Sportsman and the Bud’s Marina Fleet. I started captaining, “Fishbone” in 2015, traveling and hitting tournaments from East to West.

Q: Where do you spend most of your time fishing?

A: I spend most of my time fishing in the Palm Beach area and the Bahamas.

A: Kite fishing for sailfish.

A: I have been fishing for as long as I can remember, but professionally for 22 years.

A: I am originally from upstate New York, but most of my childhood was spent here in West Palm Beach, FL where I learned to fish. When I turned 15, I went to the Bahamas and caught my first Blue Marlin. From that point on, I was in love with blue water fishing. My passion has always been sport fishing, and I love sharing it with others alongside my family.

Q: Where do you spend most of your time fishing?

A: I fish primarily in Stuart FL. In the summertime, I spend a lot of weekends fishing in Virginia Beach, Ocean City, and the Oregon Inlet.

A: I practice Saltwater fishing, both shore and offshore. I do a lot of light tackle fishing.

A: I just recently renewed my Captain’s license after 15 years of practice and I have been fishing 13-14 years before that!

A: I started fishing at a very young age with my family. My dad was my primary teacher. I fished throughout my entire childhood. Once I turned 14, 1 started fishing for people around my hometown. Since then, I never stopped.
