Our Snapper Bottom Rod was designed to fill a need in the market for a strong and durable rod for bottom fishing. Two different rods that are powerful but sensitive enough to maximize an angler's ability to haul in one of these fish. The Snapper rod is more sensitive to be able to feel the subtle bite from a mutton, red, or mangrove snapper, but has enough lifting power to quickly receive your prized catch before the sharks do. The grouper was built with more power than sensitivity to help keep black, gag, and other groupers from getting the angler pinned in the rocks or reef. The Snapper Rod is a 7' 20-30 lb rated Bottom Rod. This rod is designed to be sensitive and durable while fishing for Mutton, Mangrove, and Red Snapper. The action gives the angler enough tip to feel the bite but plenty of lifting power for bigger fish they might encounter. Built with Seaguide components with heavy-duty guides, a graphite reel seat, EVA fore and rear grips, and a rubber gimbal for comfort, this rod is perfect for bottom fishing while retaining sensitivity.
