Bass Elite Rod & Reel Combos Now Available from Blackfin Rods!

We’re excited to share that our highly regarded Bass Elite rod series now comes in complete rod-and-reel combos — delivering everything you need to hit the water with one solid package.

If you’ve admired the Bass Elite series for its crisp action, sensitivity, and clean design, you’ll love that there’s now a version that pairs the rod with Blackfin’s new baitcast reel — giving you a plug-and-play setup that’s ready for bass and freshwater fishing.

Bass Elite rods are built on a lightweight carbon composite blank, with premium features like Seaguide components and cork handles. All three Bass Elite models are available as a combo, paired with the new BFLP8R baitcast reel.

• 70MHTF Combo: 7' baitcaster rod and reel combo designed for targeting largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, and walleye using chatter baits, swim baits, and spinning baits.
• 72MHM Combo: 7'2" baitcaster rod and reel combo designed for targeting largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, and walleye using jerk baits, frogs, and crankbaits.
• 711HMF Combo: 7'11" baitcaster rod and reel combo designed for punching and flipping heavier baits and targeting largemouth bass in thicker vegetation.

Features of the BFLP8R include an 8-bearing system, aluminum frame, graphite side plates, dial-adjust magnetic brake, and a 7.1:1 gear ratio. Blackfin offers a lifetime warranty on the rod blank and one year on the components.
