Swordfish

Recreational fishermen have fished for swordfish off the East Coast since the 1920s. Until recently, swordfish were primarily caught at night when they move closer to the surface to feed.

More recently, fisherman have found ways to catch these discovered that with the right gear and techniques, swordfish can be caught in daylight. Due to the growing popularity of day-time swordfish fishing, Blackfin created the Fin #153 Daybreak Gulf Special.
